Will Smith - Ultimate Motivational Speeches

Create Your Ideal Lifestyle

Lifestyle reflects our beliefs, attitudes, customs, behaviors, and values. A lifestyle can fill us with joy, keep us healthy, and allow us to become more successful. It can also contribute to illness or hold us back from the things we are capable of accomplishing.
Fortunately, we can choose actions and habits that keep us happy, healthy, and successful. We have that choice daily.
Maltbie Babcock summarized this very elegantly when she wrote, "A day dawns, quite like other days; in it, a single hour comes, quite like other hours; but in that day and in that hour the chance of a lifetime faces us."
That chance, however, presents a challenge. A familiar lifestyle is not easy to leave behind, even when negative habits or tolerations make it uncomfortable. Doug Firebaugh wisely said, "Something must die in order to grow - your old habits, your old self image, your old thinking, your old life... must be weeded out for the seeds of success to grow."
People want to be free from the consequences of their vices, but not necessarily from their vices. Many attempt changes that are too large to be realistic. Others try to change too many things at once. Old behaviors creep back very quickly.
For example, if it would burden you to carry out a new action on a regular basis, it is probably not a realistic change. Smaller changes carried out regularly more often lead to lasting change. Begin with one new action that can become a regular lifestyle behavior. Then look for tangible results from that change.
If you are not already living your ideal lifestyle, take time to think deeply about the following questions. Then write your answers in a journal. This exercise will help you create a clear picture of your ideal lifestyle. It will also help you to design a plan to begin creating the lifestyle that you want.
What is my current lifestyle?
How have my beliefs created that lifestyle?
What is my current lifestyle costing me?
If my lifestyle were to become ideal, what differences would I notice immediately in the major areas of my life?
For example, what would you be doing differently on a daily basis? What habits would you adopt, and what habits would you discard? Consider the changes you would notice in these areas:
  • Relationships (Family and Career)
  • Home environment
  • Wellness and self-care
  • Energy level
  • Serenity and inner stillness
  • Finances
  • Rest and relaxation
  • Temperament
  • Happiness and contentment
How would I look and feel most of the time if I lived my ideal lifestyle?
What tolerations, habits of thought, and actions are limiting me from living my ideal lifestyle?
What would it require of me to remove those limitations?
What is the first thing in my current lifestyle that I would truly like to change or improve?
Am I willing to commit to the necessary changes in thought and action to live my ideal lifestyle, and if so, when will I begin to make the first change?
How will I feel when I have adopted new habits of thought and action?
What is one positive change I could comfortably make today?
This exercise will open your mind to the possibilities and options available to you for positive change. When you have a clear picture of your goal and the changes needed, you can begin moving forward toward a lifestyle that will bring you more success in all the important areas of your life.
These questions might lead to additional questions you will need to answer. You will need to evaluate your progress on a regular basis, make changes in your initial plan, and adjust your actions accordingly. A professional life strategies coach can also help you to expand these questions to a deeper level, find necessary answers, and design a plan to achieve the lifestyle you want.
Envision your ideal lifestyle. Determine necessary changes, and design a realistic plan to achieve your vision. Then make at least one small change in your thoughts and actions immediately. These suggestions will help you begin moving toward your ideal lifestyle today.

Tony Robbins: FOCUS ON YOURSELF | Tony Robbins 2020

Lifestyle Changes to Overcome Obesity

Obesity has reached epic proportions world over. It is a condition wherein your calorie intake is way higher than the number of calories you burn, and is often caused by factors such as a sedentary lifestyle, poor eating habits and lack of sleep, among others. If you make simple changes to your lifestyle, you can beat obesity. Here are some steps you could take:
  • You should set goals that are achievable and realistic. You could certainly lose a pound or two a week.

  • Stick to a healthy diet pattern. Make sure you include all food groups in your meal, from vegetables, fruits and whole grains to proteins and healthy fats.

  • Never skip breakfast - by eating well in the morning, you won't overeat or gorge on junk food later on in the day.

  • Give up on sweetened beverages, colas, caffeine, and candy. Drink sugarless tea and hydrate yourself well.

  • Never skip any meal or starve yourself. Your metabolism will slow down and you are bound to store more fat. Have small meals that are healthy.

  • Get adequate exercise; at least 30 minutes of brisk walk or a run should set you back by a few calories.

  • Another important aspect of overcoming obesity is to get enough sleep. Poor sleep is often linked with weight gain.

  • Avoid stress, because stress, anxiety and fear could lead you to eat too much.

  • Don't go on strange crash diets because they are not sustainable, and you are going to put on all that weight in no time. Find ways to make meals healthier, and choose less greasy and more veggie-based meals when you eat out.

  • When you feel like snacking, reach out for a carrot or a few nuts rather than a donut or a deep-fried samosa!

  • Portion control is an important aspect of healthy eating. Identify a portion size that is right for you, that satiates your hunger, but don't go in for a second helping.

  • Always set goals and get someone to partner with you on your weight loss programme so you can feel answerable. You will also feel more motivated and celebrate your successes.

  • Cook more often at home, although it is tempting to dial a number and order pizza. Make cooking a fun activity with a partner, friend or family member. That way, you not only get quality time together but also manage to eat healthy.

  • Take up meditation, yoga, dance, or some fun methods to burn fat, and stay de-stressed!

  • Never take over-the-counter dietary supplements or herbal concoctions that advertise easy weight loss.

  • Wherever you can, walk. Take the stairs rather than the elevator. Take up gardening, or walk your pet - you are bound to lose a few kilos.
The first step to burning all that fat is to take up lifestyle changes. If these changes or medication don't help much, you should take recourse to obesity treatment in Bangalore. You could seek more information on the available kinds of obesity surgery in Bangalore, depending on how obese you are and what your health condition is.

The ONLY Video You Need To Find Your TRUE PURPOSE In Life | TOP 5 Best Advice Speeches | Goalcast

Create A Healthier Lifestyle

The term "diets don't work" has become a major cliché in today's society. Countless diet books line the shelves of bookstores and numerous diet products are advertised via TV, The Internet, and magazines. Yet the majority of the U.S. still remains overweight. So how does one decipher what is good information and what is a gimmick? Well, you first need to recognize that you already know the basics of living a healthy lifestyle. You may not be an expert, but you can determine what healthy meals and workouts consists of.
Think of the average healthy person. Do they overeat or starve? Do they over exercise or never exercise? Of course not, these people are balanced. The foods they eat are not off the wall or crazy. For example, instead of eating take-out for lunch everyday, they cook their meals in advance to make sure only the freshest most wholesome ingredients are used. Instead of buying a piece of gym equipment or subscribing to a gym membership and sporadically working out, they consistently engage in moderate exercise.
Healthy people not only eat well and exercise often, they also have a healthy attitude towards both. They do not spend time obsessing over what they ate or how they worked out. These people understand that a healthy lifestyle enhances life, not consumes it. So with the New Year approaching make a life commitment to create lasting change and enjoy the benefits of optimum health. Here are a few ways to achieve just that.
1- Proclaim your goal - Getting someone else involved in your goals is a great way to keep yourself accountable. No one wants to tell a friend or colleague they plan to eat healthy, only for them to see you the next day scarfing down a piece of cake. Tell someone who you see often about your health goals. Ask them to check in on you from time to time if you wish. You can also solicit a partner so you can go food shopping, workout, and both become healthier together.
2- Write down your progress and goals - Becoming more fit is not something we can think about once a year and see results. When you are first starting out, write down your goals. Whether it is a specific weight, size, or striving for seven consecutive days of eating veggies, put it down on paper. Then each day chart your progress and see if you can identify any pitfalls you have encountered throughout your week. If there are any revisions you need to make towards your goal then you will have good records in order to make positive changes.
3- Set yourself up for success - Make attaining your goal as convenient as possible. For example, if you'd like to cut back on sweets, don't buy them when you go food shopping. Get rid of all the loose change and bills under five dollars when you are at work and prepare your meals in advance. Plan ahead if you know you are going out. In other words make decisions before hand and don't put yourself in tempting situations.
4- Do your homework - There are tons of health and fitness books out there, so choosing a program that works for you is not a simple decision. Whatever you choose make sure your eating is balanced, meaning you take in reasonable portion sizes of all the food groups. Also make sure the fitness workouts won't leave you in pain the first week. Once you've found a program you like don't be afraid to adjust it to fit your lifestyle. Just give enough time to see results before you do.
Remember you already know what is good for you and what is not. Creating a healthy lifestyle is more about being determined to stay on the right track, even when you are tempted to give up, than it is about knowing every aspect of nutrition and exercise. After researching and practicing, your knowledge will increase along with your drive to succeed. So at first use common sense regarding your health and have every choice you make move you closer to your goal.
